UMass Lilly Fellows for Teaching Excellence Announced

The UMass Amherst Center for Teaching and Learning announced the 2020-2021 cohort of Lilly Fellows, and I am super excited to be among this group of eight faculty. The long-running Lilly Fellowship program was first established in 1986 (gosh, almost as old as me!) and has fostered leadership in teaching by training over 248 faculty members since then. I am honored to be welcomed into this elite group, and look forward to attending regular seminars on pedagogy, taking ownership of the Astronomy Junior Year Writing course in the fall, and continuing to develop my teaching portfolio.
